IT Project Manager with Lab Systems

**Our direct client is seeking an GxP Project Manager a strong IT background.
***Must have laboratory GxP systems experience
**Seeking 8+ years’ experience as a IT Project Manager
**Ideal candidate would have prior experience managing Laboratory Systems projects in a Pharmaceutical / Biotech domain
We are looking for a Project Manager on a contract basis in Newark, CA who can help with the management of the Lab Informatics portfolio, including the following:
Please note that the requirement is for a Project Manager who can help in managing the projects under the Lab Informatics portfolio, developing/managing/executing project plans, coordinating with the vendors/stakeholders, publishing status reports/dashboards, managing issues/mitigating risks, etc.
The motivated candidate will work on high-visibility projects in a fast-paced environment.

- TOC Analyzer
- Softmax Pro
- Tecan Plate Reader
- And others
Please note that the requirement is for a Project Manager who can help in managing the projects under the Lab Informatics portfolio, developing/managing/executing project plans, coordinating with the vendors/stakeholders, publishing status reports/dashboards, managing issues/mitigating risks, etc.

Essential duties:
- Delivery of the full lifecycle of projects assigned providing leadership to deliver on time, within budget and defined scope
- Ensure effectiveness in the allocation of project resources, build and manage the detailed project plan, define and manage risks/issues, stakeholder communications, and escalate to management when appropriate to ensure the deliverables of the project are met.
- Strong DRIVER of projects
- Strong collaborator and ability to build strong relationships with the stakeholders to ensure timely communication of projects relevant to stakeholders
- Manage the project schedule, resources, and budget to meet all project objectives as defined by the business / management.
- Good problem solver with a knack of clearing roadblocks.
Knowledge and Skills
- Should have prior experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and preferably other Lab and GxP Systems within the pharma domain.
- 8+ years’ experience in IT project management for projects in the IT application space
- Strong delivery focus - effective facilitator
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
- Knowledgeable of compliance regulations including CFR 21 part 11
- Self-starter with a can-do attitude and works well with very little supervision.
- PMP certification a plus but not mandatory
