This person will serve as a financial systems bridge for our growing business analytics team, creating programmatic solutions to help ensure business data accurately feeds to the company’s data warehouse and ERP. Experience working with standard business workflows (purchases, payables, receivables and resulting data forms) is needed! This position will be reporting to our Financial Systems team and work closely with field leadership, engineering and corporate accounting functions to design and implement solutions for a functional and efficient data pipeline.
Must have experience with AP / AR Modules including Procure-to-Pay (P2P) modules and have strong SQL skills to build accounting workflows, dashboards, and automated solutions.

Job Description
- Apply Data Warehousing and Advanced-level SQL skills to develop custom inter-system invoicing and revenue recognition workflows, dashboards, and automated solutions.
- Serve the Business Systems team in building out financial and analytical tools, dashboards, processes and reports.
- Become a subject matter expert (SME) on business processes across many financial systems, understanding the resulting data feed flowing from those systems.
- Work with other functional areas to identify technical needs and deliver solutions. Validate and prioritize requests, follow up with clarifying questions and understand what is really needed, not just what is stated as being the need.
- Accelerate and automate data delivery for our technology sales payment solutions using Business Intelligence (BI) applications such as Looker or Power BI.
- Use your strong development and analytical skills to solve business problems across the company and its systems
- Analyze a wide range of data, and turn that data into action, whether that looks like process improvements, best business practices or other data-backed solutions
- Identify trends, correlations and patterns in data, and present findings to stakeholder
- Experience in detecting and correcting for erroneous, corrupted, or inaccurate data
Skills & Qualifications
- 6+ years of work experience focused on Financial System Analytics
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Accounting/Finance or related field
- Knowledge and proven experience using an analytical language like Python or R to develop business solutions
- Expert-level SQL and Excel skills and Snowflake experience needed.
- At least 2 years of experience with financial data analysis
- BI tool experience with Looker
- Experience with Sage Intacct a huge plus
- Experience with Procure-to-Pay modules and building dashboards and report generations
- Working knowledge of financial data: forecasting, reporting, and analysis experience, a basic understanding of financial data, financial systems, and general business processes that feed them is a plus.
- Ability to swiftly extract key insights from data
- Proven ability to approach complex problems with curiosity and an analytical mindset
- Adapt quickly, manage competing projects and challenge the status
