As a Financial Systems Analyst II, you will be vital in the advanced analysis of financial data and delivering insightful reporting to drive organizational decision-making. This position focuses primarily on accounts receivable, requiring a keen eye for detail, proficiency in data analysis, and the ability to optimize processes within financial systems. You will collaborate with various teams to gather, organize, and interpret financial data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing accounts receivable workflows. Your expertise will help identify trends, streamline reporting, and support strategic business initiatives.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth analysis and reporting of accounts receivable (AR) metrics to monitor performance, identify trends, and support financial decision-making
Leading smaller system improvement projects, including requirements gathering,design, implementation, and user training.
Be the business partner POC and consultant for AR related data inquiries and initiatives
Educate and train other analysts when their projects touch AR
Use your strong analytical skills to solve business problems across the company and its Systems
Analyze a wide range of data and turn that data into action, whether that looks like process improvements, best business practices, or other data-backed solutions
Ensuring data accuracy by performing data cleansing, validation checks, and identifying potential discrepancies through SQL and API method
Required Skills/Abilities:
Working knowledge of APIs and accompanying tools (Postman)
Expert-level Excel skills
BI tool experience (Looker, Power BI, Tableau) a plus
Working knowledge of financial data: forecasting, reporting, and analysis experience, abasic understanding of financial data, financial systems, and general businessprocesses that feed them required
Ability to swiftly extract key insights from data
Proven ability to approach complex problems with curiosity and an analytical mindset
Adapt quickly, manage competing projects and challenge the status quo
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, orAccounting/Finance or related field
Expert-level SQL skills - at least 3 years of experience writing queries, managingdatabases, and performing data manipulations and analysis
