Exert your passion and thinking to streamline and control business and financial transactions within, and across platforms.
Collaborate with adjacent departments to take ideas from concept to delivery. Balancing the desire to ship code with the responsibility to get it right.
Support, coach, and mentor Engineers and Analysts in adjacent teams by sharing your insight, knowledge, and experience as we learn and grow together.
Meet with other teams to define the scope and scale of software projects and the adoption of priority platform data.
Design and implement scalable applications, web services, and APIs in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, Java).
Develop and maintain internal software tools.
Identify bottlenecks and improve software efficiency.
Stay current with the latest technologies and programming trends to drive innovation and system improvements.
Write technical documents.
Requirements:
Demonstrated expertise in multiple programming languages relevant to financial systems development (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, C++, R).
Delivery-focused with solid exposure to event-driven architectures and high-volume data processing.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
At least 4+ years of relevant development experience building production-grade solutions.
Experience with software development methodologies, version control systems, and testing frameworks.
