Role: Business Systems Analyst Consultant (with Coupa)
Location: San Francisco, CA 94158 (Hybrid or Remote)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to assist in managing, improving, and scaling our client’s financial systems (with an initial focus on the procurement system) to ensure that business teams are fully enabled. This role will facilitate discussions with the business users to evaluate needs and implement application improvements. Additionally, this role is needed to support the daily operations within the Procurement system with a focus on change monitoring, compliance, and business partner support. This role will work with multiple internal teams, vendors, and partners. 

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Agiloft CLM, Coupa, and NetSuite and a strong understanding of the unique needs within life sciences organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as the IT point of contact for the Finance, Legal and Procurement teams
• Perform hands-on configurations and troubleshooting to ensure legal, procurement and financial systems are in line with day-to-day business operations
• Implement and support ongoing changes for Agiloft, Coupa, and NetSuite - perform and/or coordinate efforts in testing, optimizing, implementing, access management, and documentation of the systems and integrations
• Develop and maintain the Finance, Legal, and Procurement system integrations
• Use biotech and business experience to partner with the business on system initiatives, such as vendor evaluations and system evaluations
• Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
• Coordinate the work of contract service providers to ensure that system issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Perform system configuration for system upgrades/routine system maintenance
• Perform project management for small to medium projects
• Self-train on internal systems sufficiently to provide back-up system administration support

EXPERIENCE:

• 5–7+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting Finance, Legal, and Procurement teams
• Proven experience with Agiloft CLM, Coupa, and NetSuite
• Strong background in system configuration, testing, and maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve business systems and processes
• Prior experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
