Our large pharma client is seeking an Sr. IT Project Manager with previous experience managing GxP projects in a Pharma/Biotech domain.

Skills Required:
  • 6+ years of strong Project Management skills and experience (PMP a plus but not mandatory)
  • ***Absolute must have previous Pharma/Biotech experience ***
  • GxP experience is required
  • Ability to manage all aspects of a large, complex IT projects with minimal direction including project planning, scope management, project execution, quality management, IT governance and project cost management.
  • Previous experience managing SharePoint projects or as a Super User is a nice to have
  • Proven track record as an IT Project Manager in successful project delivery
  • Responsible for providing overall leadership for the project; accountable for deliverables
  • Interacts regularly with key business stakeholders, leaders and executives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with client technical management; ensures ongoing communication of progress against program objectives
  • Experience with change control processes, change and incident management, and applications lifecycle management
  • Identify functional requirements and performance specification
  • Monitor progress, recognize and help resolve technical problems
  • Provide regular status reports and briefings
  • Able to mentor and lead others through the use of project management best practices
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects within a defined SDLC process.
  • Ability to provide solid estimates on work effort and ability to meet strict timelines.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Must have excellent judgment and strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid Microsoft Project Skills
  • Able to mentor and lead others through the use of project management best practices
